Is Hotel Esencia a good fit for families as well as couples?

Yes. Hotel Esencia is a luxury family-friendly resort with a heated family pool and a children's pool. It also has an adults-only pool, a kids' treatment menu at Esencia Spa and a lifeguard on site. Because the Esencia Suite sleeps four with two kings, it works well for families or friends sharing. Note that some outdoor terraces and balconies at the resort may not suit young children.

What are the dining options close to the suite?

The hotel has three restaurants. Mistura is beachfront and open 7 am to 11 pm. Beefbar Esencia is a steakhouse open 6 pm to 11 pm, and Taiyo is a poolside Japanese restaurant open 1 pm to 11 pm. There is also a coffee and juice bar at Mistura and a Beach Bar. Dress is relaxed, with guests often dressing up a little in the evening.

How do we get to Hotel Esencia, and when can we check in?

The hotel is about fifty minutes south of Cancún and thirty minutes north of Tulum by car. It can arrange private car transfers from Cancún International Airport for a fee, and a helicopter transfer is also offered. Please contact the hotel 48 hours ahead to arrange pick-up. Check-in begins at 3:00 PM and check-out is by 12:30 PM, and early or late times depend on availability.
